Community Supported Art: Buy Local.

Happy 2014!! Great movement sweeping the country: Buy Local! Arts & Science Council is hosting their second season of CSA (Community Supported Art). I am one of the nine local artists that CSA shareholders will receive cool new artwork from! Read a fun post about my work – like why water and my transition from paint to glass HERE. My ArtPop Billboard.

My ArtPop Billboard.

Here is my warm glass ArtPop billboard at the initial location! It is like Christmas to drive by your own large scale public art piece. Cherry on top… ‘Carmella Jarvi’ is clear as day too. (Also thrilling to know many of the other 20 local artists.) I hope total strangers – as well as friends – are enjoying their commute around Charlotte! There has simply not been this instant volume of large scale public art… BIG shout out to Katherine Mooring of Arts & Science Council and Wendy Hickey of Adams Outdoor Advertising for funding and passion behind this program that is FREE to participating artists! Happy New Year!     Share...
