Glassblowing at Penland School of Crafts. Warm memories of last fall.

August 2016, I spent two weeks learning glassblowing with the amazing Brian Corr at Penland School of Crafts.

Final Jarvi glass cylinder that was rolled up & blown by Brian Corr.

Jarvi blown glass, in process. Brian Corr (acting as gaffer) at Penland School of Crafts.
During 2 week glassblowing class in August 2016, the instructor was gaffer for one of my previously made glass panels. He worked it into a new form. Seen here, right out of furnace, shaping it on the marver.
