Love Seeing My Glass Huge & Back Lit.

River run is series of cast glass pieces created from late 2015 into 2016. Created by multiple firings, culminating in a cast glass bowl mold. Solid glass bowl is fired into flattened circle. Each is then wall mounted with glass epoxy and special hardware. “River run” composite pieces are positioned different distances from wall. There have been four different arrangements. More about ArtPop!

ArtPop — now in growing number of cities in USA — provides local artists with free opportunities to share their art on outdoor advertising spaces. Historically on billboards (thanks to Adams Outdoor Advertising and Arts & Science Council in Charlotte, NC area), spots  on s0me city buses and even this new curved digital display are additional ways for ArtPop artists to share their art. Because of the nature of this venue opportunity, if you want to see in person, head on out. (Not sure how long it will be up. Hoping through end of May 2016:)     In addition to being an ArtPop 2014 Charlotte Alumni artist, I’ve also been serving on the ArtPop Board of Directors for past year. This is such an AMAZING opportunity for artists, I had to volunteer to help ArtPop grow into more cities… especially cities not fortunate enough to have their own Arts & Science Council!
