Save the Date(s)... ArtPop & Anne Neilson Fine Art!! (6.22.18)

2018 has been a good year. Finally having some opportunities I've dreamed about - like my public art installation in South End, Charlotte... and a little something else I can't share quite yet.

First, I'm THRILLED to have this glass piece (detail) below as part of an August group show at Anne Neilson Fine Art in Charlotte!! Urban Eddy Movement is the original water glass I created for the S. End public art piece. But, these final 10 rounds have not been shown publicly until now.

I have been exploring how to capture "water" with kiln glass... using the beautiful Bullseye Glass.

2018 has been a FABULOUS year to be an ArtPop artist! ArtPop is a gift that keeps giving, and I'm proud to give back. I'm donating this table top glass bowls pair (BELOW) to their big annual auction fundraiser. Proceeds support ArtPop printing vinyls for programs in 14 cities across US.

You need a ticket to get into the auction. There will be wide variety of original art up for auction. This pair, called Storm, was created for the fundraiser - combining a favorite piece of older glass with new glass. Bid starts at $200 (for $450 valued pair). Highest bidder takes them home.
